Johawaki’s roots extend back 30 years, when two brothers decided to set up a construction business with the formation of Hawaki Enterprise on April 1, 1979.
Over time, that business grew and evolved, and in 1984, the company incorporated an investment holding company named Johawaki Holdings Sdn Bhd.
The company built another subsidiary, Johawaki Properties Sdn Bhd involves in managing all properties & property investment belongs to Johawaki Group of Companies.
After a few years, the company decided to diversify its business profile with the incorporation of Johawaki Plantation Sdn Bhd in 1996 for the purpose of palm oil tree cultivation at at Perak, and Selangor.
On 2000, a maintenance agreement for 15 years concession signed with the Government for the management and maintenance of Federal Roads in Northern Zone of the Peninsular Malaysia.
In 2003, the company decided to venture into overseas investments on leather goods manufacturing in Bosnia by incorporating Johawaki International Pte Ltd.
