Signing Ceremony Between Johawaki Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and Halagel (M) Sdn. Bhd.

Monday, 17th May 2010 at Johawaki meeting room, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held between Johawaki Holdings Sdn Bhd and Halagel (M) Sdn Bhd. The agreement was signed by the Executive Chairman of Johawaki Group of Companies Y. Bhg. Dato’ Hj Johari Bin Mat and the Chief Executive Officer of Halagel (M) Sdn Bhd Mohamad Yakob Bin Munshi Deen. Witnessing the event was Tuan Haji Abdul Rahim Bin Ahmad, Executive Director of Johawaki Group of Companies.

Halagel (M) Sdn Bhd is the sole importer and distributor for halal food & pharmaceutical grade gelatine, halal empty hard gelatine capsules and halal gelatine softgels for Malaysia and South East Asia markets. Halagel has now broaden its business activities from trading to distributing and manufacturing halal products under the famous brand Halagel®.

By signing the MoU, Johawaki and Halagel are already taking a step towards a new venture in manufacturing of halal products industry.
