June 5, 2010 – The morning of 5th June 2010 finally came. After the usual final briefing, all the cars were flagged-off at 8.30 am by Tn. Hj Abdul Rahim, Executive Director of Johawaki Group of Companies. The flag-off of “Motoring Treasure Hunt Johawaki & Masyarakat 2010” at Wisma Johawaki leads the participants to Darul Ehsan Medical Centre (DEMC) in search of the first task. Upon submission to the Official Marshalls, the participants rushed immediately but safely and make their way towards Tunku Khursiah College Site Office for the next 2 tasks before returned to the last point at Wisma Johawaki. During the 7-hour drive, the participants answered 36 questions, purchased 5 “treasure” and completed 3 tasks. The total number of 35 cars with maximum of 4 participants in a car participating the event. The ‘never give up’ spirit prevailed and some were seen rushing in trying to beat the other hunters.The prizes handed by Tuan Hj Ariffin Bin Md Noor, Chairman of Johawaki Sdn Bhd and the grand prize handed by Managing Director Johawaki Group of Companies, Y. Bhg. Dato Johari Bin Mat. ![]() The treasure hunt successfully organized by Sport and Recreation Bureau Johawaki in collaboration with Tabung Kebajikan of Johawaki Group. This event is a great way to discover new places, mind challenging, time management, team building of the participant and most of all-have fun all the way. A big thank you to all hunters.
